Il WordCamp Bari 2018 sarà ospitato presso la sale eventi e la biblioteca dello spazio di coworking Impact Hub di Bari, la struttura è attrezzata con Wi-Fi ad alta velocità e gli ampi spazi permetteranno all’evento di svolgersi in maniera semplice e funzionale, garantendo a tutti i necessari comfort.
Impact Hub Bari è situato in via Volga all’interno della Fiera del Levante, con ingresso sul lungomare dall’entrata Monumentale della Fiera.

Come
L’evento si svolgerà in due giornate.
Il Contributor Day si terrà Venerdì 11 Maggio a partire dalle ore 09:30 e durerà sino al primo pomeriggio.
Il WordCamp si terrà Sabato 12 Maggio a partire dalle ore 08:30 con la registrazione degli attendees, mentre la conferenza partirà alle 09:30.
Il 12 Maggio, in serata a partire dalle 20:00, ci sarà l’After Party!
Il luogo e gli orari saranno comunicati al più presto.
L’After Party è un’ottima occasione per fare networking, conoscersi meglio e per continuare a divertirsi, perciò non andare via subito, rimani con noi!
Muoversi in città
Per raggiungere la location del WordCamp Bari si possono utilizzare i collegamenti con autobus urbani gestiti da Amtab Bari, prendendo i pullman che dalla Stazione Centrale FS (Piazza Aldo Moro).
Portano verso la Fiera numeri 22, 27 e 53 e scendendo alla fermata in via Paolo Pinto, fronte Ingresso Monumentale Fiera.
I biglietti hanno validità di 75/100 minuti oppure giornaliera (ci sono anche opzioni park & ride) e sono acquistabili presso le rivendite autorizzate, edicole, tabacchi. Puoi conoscere tutti gli orari e le fermate per pianificare il tuo percorso tramite il sito ufficiale Amtab.it (linee bus cittadine).
Sulla piazza antistante la Stazione Centrale di Bari delle Ferrovie dello Stato è presente un box autorizzato presso il quale è possibile ricevere informazioni.
Come arrivare a Bari
In Aereo: L’aeroporto Karol Wojtyla è situato a poco più di 10 Km dal centro cittadino ed è servito sia da compagnie di bandiera che da quelle low cost.
L’aeroporto è collegato con la Stazione Centrale di Trenitalia con:
- Bus di città numero 16 (~ 40-45 minuti)
- Navetta Bus Tempesta (~ 25-30 minuti)
- Linea Ferroviaria Metropolitana gestita dalla società Ferrovie Nord Barese con frequenti collegamenti (~ 15 minuti)
- Taxi (~25-30 minuti)
Treno: La stazione dei treni Trenitalia è situata in pieno centro città, ed a questa si affiancano le stazioni di scalo degli operatori locali di Ferrovie Del Sud Est, Ferrotramviaria spa, Ferrovie Appulo Lucane
Auto: La città è raggiungibile facilmente mediante le direttrici:
- Statale SS 16 (Tangenziale di Bari) prendi l’uscita 4 Via Napoli, direzione Bari Fiera Del Levante.
- Autostrada A14 uscita Bari-Nord, una volta usciti prendere direzione Tangenziale Bari uscita n. 4 Fiera-Porto
Bus: La città è servita dai maggiori vettori nazionali, anche low cost, tra cui FlixBus – Marozzi – Marino – Autolinee Baltour.

Where
The 2018’s edition of the WordCamp Bari 2018 will be hosted by the coworking space of Impact Hub di Bari, the place is equiped with high speed connectivity and all the comforts needed to let participants have a good time and a relaxing experience following the event.
Impact Hub Bari is placed at via Volga inside the exposition’s area ‘Fiera del Levante’, you’ll have to reach the monumental entrance on Lungomare Starita 4 – 70132 Bari, Italy.
Here’s how-to reach the Impact Hub once you enter the Fiera Area.
How
The event will take place during two days.
On Friday 11 May we will host the Contributor Day, starting at 09:30 will endure up to the fist hours of afternoon.
The WordCamp will take place the day after, Saturday 12 May. Registration of the attendees will start at 08:30, with the conference starting up at 09:30. Program is to close the event at 18:00.
The evening of May 12th, starting at 20:00, we will start the After Party!
We will communicate the location shortly. The After Party is open to all the participants of the conference and it’s a great way to make networking, know each other and continue to enjoy the WordCamp. So don’t leave immediately after the conference, you’ll miss something to remember 😉
Moving in Bari
To reach the location of the WordCamp Bari – along with your car or a taxi – you can use the bus lines provided by da Amtab Bari, starting terminus is located in Piazza Aldo Moro, in front of the main train station of Trenitalia/Ferrovie dello Stato.
Lines 22, 27 and 53 will take you to the Fiera del Levante entrance, dropping off at stop in via Paolo Pinto, you’ll have the monumental entrance on your left, facing the sea.
There are many options for tickets ranging from 75/100 minutes, daily and also with a ‘Park & Ride’ option. Tickets are sold by authorized resales, newsagents, tobacco shops.
You can find all the timetables and stops to plan your route through the official website Amtab.it (city bus lines).
In Piazza Aldo Moro, in front of the Central Railway Station of Trenitalia/Ferrovie dello Stato, there is an authorized box where you can receive information.
How-To get reach Bari
Plane: Bari’s “Karol Wojtyla” Airport is located just over 10 km from the city center and is served by both flag carriers and low cost airlines.
The airport is connected to the city center by the following:
- Amtab Bus line #16 (travel time ~ 40-45 minutes)
- private bus line ‘Tempesta’ (travel time ~ 25-30 minutes)
- train line (plan -1 of the airport) by Ferrovie Nord Barese, ticket is 5€ per ride, frequent connections (travel time ~ 15 minutes)
- Taxi (~25-30 minutes)
Train: the main train station by Trenitalia / Ferrovie dello Stato is located in the city center, you’ll find there also the terminus of many bus lines along with other train lines provided by local operatorsFerrovie Del Sud Est, Ferrotramviaria spa, Ferrovie Appulo Lucane.
Car: Bari is easily reachable by car using two main directions:
- Strada Statale SS 16 (Tangenziale di Bari). Then to reach the Exposition Area of the Fiera del Levante you’ll have to choose the exit n°4 Via Napoli, direction Bari Fiera Del Levante.
- Autostrada A14 – exit Bari-Nord, once outside the highway you’ll have to take the direction of the Tangenziale Bari and then exit n°4 Fiera-Porto
Bus: The city is served by major national carriers, including low cost companies, including: FlixBus – Marozzi – Marino – Autolinee Baltour.
